Hi Eskay

LG Neon2 and Enphase is a great system. Price seems reasonable. Never a bad idea to get a second quote if you haven’t.

What is your motivation for wanting a battery?

Cheers
Marty

Solar Installers Sydney

Hi Marty

Thanks for your input.

I was told that the battery is good for power storage for below reasons

  1. evening/night usage is covered

  2. Excess after storage is sent to grid

  3. In case of blackout

Keen to know your thoughts, it is very expensive!!

Cheers Eskay

Well if you think about it, only number 3 really is an argument for batteries. The grid is better for the first two point, or makes them redundant.

Therefore it’s really only worth the money if you are concerned about maintaining power throughout a blackout (as long as it doesn’t go for too long).

Hope that helps
Marty
