Affordable Alternatives to Tesla Powerwall?

Hello all,

I am new to the forum because I’ve recently started to think about getting a solar panel/battery system for my home, I live by myself and have daily energy usage of about 5 kWh.
I have yet to call to get quotes from different retailers but to be honest I really do enjoy the look Tesla has made for Powerwall… But considering the restrictions (I want to be able to shop around the panels and the batteries separately, but Tesla doesn’t seem to allow customers to do so) and the price, I don’t think I will be able to get one soon.

I found these alternatives and the big ones are of course LG Chem RESU, Duracell Energy Bank, Nissan xStorage, Samsung SDI All-in-one, Huawei Lithium Battery LUNA2000 5/10/15-S0, and several other ones and they are definitely gonna cost a fortune considering they are priced 7000$ and up before installation…

I also came across these smaller retailers like UFO Powers, Adapt Solar Power, Dodo, CRG Solar, etc. I think I saw most of them either made in China or Australia, I am currently in the states. The smaller retailers seem to offer better prices but I have yet to contact them…

Any suggestion/advice about the models and brands I mentioned above? Are they worth calling? To this day I still dislike making phone calls lol and I thought there’s no harm asking for advices from all the experts here before I make a move lol.

Thank you all so much! I am excited!

Alex
