Solar Installer came to my house to install the solar but when checking the roof they said
my roof has terracotta tiles which they said was glued and nailed so they cannot install solar in my roof and also said they need smaller size solar panel to fit in my roof
Can some one provide information regarding how it works and find someone has experience in this field of job
The installer needs to be able to kick the tiles up in order to attached the solar panel racking to the roof beams underneath. If the tiles are glued, and the beams cannot be reached, that is a problem. You may need to get a roofer to take a look first.
You should not have been sold panels that don’t fit on your roof. Perhaps get a quote from another company that doesn’t have a sales person saying one thing, and installer saying another.
