Look at PVWatts Calculator for Cleveland and you get about 4.48 kWh/m^2/day. A low of 1.82 in December and a high of 6.82 in June.
The cost of electricity and if you have Net metering. Will your electric utility pay you full retail for your excess generation? An exercise for you.
From PV watts, a 10 kW system will generate about 12,940 kWh a year. At 11.4 cents a kWh, it is $1,473.

The software is pretty complex but gives you the complete answer.
To run you will need LOTS of data.

Moreover I was also researching on PVwatts calculator and Solar Panels at good rates. I get to find quite a good website in Cleveland. Their rates are quite good compared to others.
