Can I install 20 x 450w Solar panels on a 4.2kW hybrid inverter?

Pls i have a 4.2kw Hybrid inverter with max pv of 450vdc but i have 20pcs of 450w Solar panels on my roof and an 8s lithium battery pack by 24v, pls is there any possible way to use the 20pcs of 450w solar on the 4.2kw inverter so that my lithium battery pack can charger faster for we don’t have good sunshine over here a lot. Thanks

I cannot help answer you question without knowing the panel specificaitons. What is the Voc of the panels you are using? I also need to know what hybrid inverter you are using (do you have the specification datasheet?)

Assuming your panels have a Voc of around 40V, then you can have 10 panels in a string. So you can have two strings of 10 panels (one string per MPPT input on the inverter).

Yeah that arrangements is what i have on my roof and voc is 40V
But do i connect the PV- from the mppt on the P- of the bms or to the battery’s main negative terminal, there by bypassing the BMS.
I really appreciate your response, thanks a lot

Sorry, your question does not make sense. You connect the PV -ve to the MPPT input -ve.

Do you have a seperate MPPT and inverter (DC-coupled system), or are you using a hybrid inverter?
I need to know what equipment you are using. Without this basic information I cannot help you.
