I will replace my faulty hybrid MPPSolar inverter with new Hybrid inverter, I have Solis and DEYE hybrid inverters Price in the same range and specifications not 100% the same little difference’s. Any one used DEYE or Solis please help me to choose one of them . Which one more reliable less headache and problems and heating issue which one run cooler.
Hey Ahmedadrs
Hope you are doing well, just a quick question where are you based in?
I am based in Middle east, Yemen country we use europe standards gride 220v but we facing frequently gride not available.
I have used both Solis and Deye, and I would recommend Deye due to its huge range of features and configuration options. The only issue with Deye is the settings can be a little confusing. The Deye SUN-8K hybrid can run parallel strings (up to 200% oversizing) and has dual AC inputs so you can have both a grid and backup generator connection.
Here is a detailed Deye hybrid inverter review I did about a year ago… Deye Hybrid Inverter Review - Off-grid [Sunsynk, Sol-Ark]
I have used both Solis and Deye inverters. They are both good quality but I would go with a Deye for reasons explained by Svary. I totally agree with his review of the Deye inverter.
I agree if you compare DEYE with old Solis models but the new models has more features than DEYE for example new Solis model S6-EH1P-8K-L-PLUS support 12,8kw solar panels and mppt range between 90-435 while Deye SUN-8K-SG05LP1-EU support only 10kw solar panels and mppt range from 125-425v .
I need inverter mainly for backup loads because I the grid coming only 4 hours daily. I found Solis has more features and less 100$ than DEYE.
Additionally new Solis models support duall strings upto 34amp per mppt I mean for 8kw hybrid single phase model. But I read on internet bad feedback about Solis apps not easy like DEYE and difficult in remote monitoring, so I confused to choose 2 hybrid 8kw inverters and connect in parallel brand should be Solis or DEYE. Waiting an expert Advice.
