Two unequal strings paralled to same MPPT

Hi,

We recently got a three phase 10kw system installed. Sungrow 10kw inverter and 10.5kw panels. Inverter has two inputs MPPT1 and MPPT2. We have two strings, East - 7 Panels, North - 15 Panels. Our installer has paralled these both unequal strings to the MPPT1 whereas MPPT2 is left disconnected.

May I please ask if it is correct way of installing ?

That looks very wrong. Have you contacted the installer? Uneven strings should not be connected to the same MPPT. The second string should be connected to the PV3 input.

The installer should have checked the inverter operating input voltages during commissioning.
