Lithium-ion battery refers to a rechargeable battery that is generally used in electric vehicles (EVs) and portable electronics. This electrochemical storage device consists of an anode, cathode, and electrolyte that does not require complete discharge prior to recharging. Nowadays, lithium-ion battery is gaining traction as it is eco-friendly, has lower self-discharge rates, and requires minimal maintenance compared to nickel-cadmium batteries.
I’ve usually bought Panasonic and sent it to recycling. But now I also buy CATL because it’s eco-friendly and I’m satisfied.

Yes. For energy storage, CATL’s LFP cell is a good choice.
LFP vs NCA/NCM
First, the material of LFP is safer.
Second, LFP has a longer cycle.
Again, LFP is cheaper.
Energy density is not too important for energy storage.
I am of the understanding that lithium-ion (Li) battery is Not the same Chemical Technology as lithium-iron (LiFePO4) Battery !
As lithium-ion type is in most of the Toys that are catching on Fire around the world.
