INVT iMars BD5KTL - Export capped at ~2kW (AS4777 firmware) - looking for solutions

Hi everyone, I’m Nicolas, an electrician based in France, running a fully local home energy setup (Home Assistant, no cloud dependency). Setup: INVT iMars BD5KTL hybrid inverter (5kW), paired with 5x Pylontech US2000C batteries, 6.6kW of PV, south-facing. I’m stuck on an issue that’s starting to wear me down: my grid export is capped around 1.9kW, even though the inverter could easily push up to 5kW once the batteries are full. Digging into it, I believe the cause is an AS4777 (Australian) safety profile active in the firmware, which seems to enforce this limit regardless of what’s actually happening on the meter side. Things I’ve already tried: simulating a smart meter (CHINT) over Modbus reporting a constant 3500W load — no change to the cap at all. I’ve also tried to find the installer-level password to access advanced LCD settings, without success so far. If anyone has run into this kind of lock on an INVT inverter (iMars BD-HS / BD5KTL), or knows how to change this grid safety profile, I’d really appreciate any feedback. Thanks in advance, Nicolas
