Luxpower-Gen settings

Hi! I’m looking for some advice

I have a luxpower sna us 6000, recently i connected a generator but could not make it charge my batteries.

I’m using a 7k Honda generator and eight Xterra 48 V 400 batteries. My battery settings are set as Lead-Acid. They charge perfectly from the pv but I cannot make it charge from the gen, it’s a manual gen so i turned it up and nothing happened.

My batteries were at 52 V, and i set my charging start voltage at 49 V.

Does anyone know what I could do? I’m pretty sure the wiring is okay and settings, but simple there’s something not working.

@Svarky might be able to point you in the right direction.

52v is the issue. your luxpower SNA US 6000 won’t pull from the generator because you’re above the 49v start threshold. at 52v it thinks the bank is fine.

let the batteries drop below 49v and try again.

also double-check:
– generator is on the GEN input (not GRID)
– generator charge is enabled in settings
– the Honda output frequency is stable

if it still doesn’t trigger, it’s almost always a luxpower setting logic thing, not wiring.
