Issue with Eastman ES6KW-HY-P inverter not maintaining Hybrid mode at night

I am using an Eastman ES6KW-HY-P inverter with a Dyness lithium battery, and I am experiencing a problem with the inverter’s behavior in SBU mode during nighttime operation.

  • At night, the inverter initially runs in a sort of hybrid mode, where the battery supplies the load while the grid remains ready to support.

  • However, this behavior lasts for only about 10 minutes, after which the inverter automatically switches to battery-only mode, and the grid stops supporting the load.

  • In case of overload at night, instead of falling back to the grid, the system shuts down completely.

  • I have already enabled the Overload Bypass function on the inverter.

  • During the daytime, the hybrid mode works correctly with the same grid connection, so the issue happens only at night when using the battery.
