Is a 6-month wait for Powerwall normal right now? Looking for modular alternatives

I finally decided to pull the trigger on a battery backup system, but 3 different local installers are quoting me 6 to 9 months for a Powerwall 3 install. That’s insane…

Are there any other modular systems that are actually in stock? I’ve seen ads for Anker SOLIX E10 which looks promising and ships soon, are there others? I really don’t want a massive industrial-looking cabinet taking up my entire walkway, so the slim profile of E10 appeals to me but somehow it’s a new model so I’d like to hear from you guys before I make the final decision..

Demand is huge right now, so lead times are terrible everywhere. 6 months is actually not the worst I’ve heard.

If you don’t want to wait that long, ask your installer about Anker SOLIX E10 or just check their site. I was in the same position and decided to order E10 instead of waiting until next winter for a Powerwall. Check out reddit or ytb if you are still uncertain.
