My faith in DEYE has been shattred. The latest 2025 DAYE models cannot parallel with the previouse models. Having invested in a huge parallel instalation requires a complete replacement because the new model cannot be used to replace one faulty inverter in an excisting installation.
That sounds like a nightmare! How frustrating. Which models are you referring to exactly?
Do you mean the new model with the different housing that looks more modern?

SUN-8K-SG01LP1-EU is the older 8K Deye inverter and SUN-8K-SG05LP1-EU-SM2 the latest 2025 released version of the 8K Deye inverter. This situation not being able to parallel the previous and the latest models go for all the Deye and Sunsynk inverters.
When I say old DEYE inverters, I refer to the model sold until the new version was released in January this year. They look very similar and the software interface is exactly the same. The build inside is different though. The new model appears to be of much inferior quality build.
