Been going through the 2026 panel comparison rounds and Jinko’s HOT 3.0 keeps coming up, so here’s a breakdown for anyone evaluating the Tiger Neo 3.0 line.

**What HOT 3.0 actually is**
It’s Jinko’s third-generation TOPCon cell platform, centered on what they call Metallization Enhancement (ME) technology. The headline improvements over earlier generations: roughly 0.5% higher cell efficiency and a 90% cut in aluminum content. The Tiger Neo 3.0 module line is built on this cell tech.

**Module specs**
The Tiger Neo 3.0 tops out at 670W, with bifaciality around 85% ±5% in mass production. The temperature coefficient is where it gets interesting at -0.26%/°C, Jinko claims roughly 0.9% more energy yield in hot climates and about 3.6% extra output under low-light conditions (200 W/m²).

**Efficiency in context**
HOT 3.0 cells are rated at ~27% efficiency; the finished module lands at ~24.8%. That puts it ahead of most standard TOPCon options right now, though it still trails newer ABC/back-contact panels breaking 25% module efficiency this year.

**Reliability**
30-year warranty, -0.35%/year degradation competitive within the N-type TOPCon category.

**Track record**
Jinko has crossed 350 GW in global shipments as of mid-2025, with the Tiger Neo series alone past 200 GW. This isn’t lab-stage tech it’s deployed at scale.
